Sri Lankan culture includes a lot of customs and rituals, which date to more than 2500 years which were handed down from generation to generation. Our culture has long been influenced by Buddhism and recent past from Hindu, Catholic and Muslim. Some customs and rituals linked to Rawana Kingdom which believed existed nearly 5000 years ago. We still follows the lunar calendar and our new year is on 13th April.
